-Compiled by the site contributers. This guide will talk about the best and fastest ways to level your character and gain gold. We'll talk about each Game Mode in terms of gains, as well as the difference the number of players in the game. It will help you what's the best Game Mode for your class to get the most benefit. Game Modes In this section we'll talk about each Game Mode and their Pros and Cons, as well as how each character will fare in such a Game Mode. Golem Wars Pros
-Only Game Mode that rewards an Excellent Player and Good Player Bonus at the end of the round Cons
-As people learn to play the game more and more strategically, people will tailor their strategies to Golem Wars which will end up making long round times Overview When you're low level, this is THE place to gain levels and gold. Fast games, all you have to do is make sure you're on top of things and you're on the winning team. If you aren't, you'll find yourself being constantly rolled over with no chance of turning the tables. Ninjas will find this to be a great place to level. Their Crouching Ninja Star attack does alot of damage to a Golem and you'll often see them here. If you're wondering what team to hop on while in the Lobby, look for the one with the most Ninjas (unless they are 20 levels under the other team :P ) Like I mentionned in the Cons, in higher level games, people will know what they're doing and you might find your Mage as being a primary target instead of avoided like in lower level games. The best games to play Golem Games are 8 player games as well 12 player games. Twelve player games will take longer than 8 player games on average, but will yield nearly twice the rewards. (In 6-9 player games, you win 6 EXP and 30 Gold for winning and in 10~12, you win 10 EXP and 50 Gold.) As there are more players, the gain is less and less. But keep in mind, the more players you throw into the equation, longer the games will take. Personally, I love 8 player games for their efficiently, low lag, and higher emphasis on team work. Deathmatch Pros
-Very high gains Cons
-Long rounds Overview This can be a great source of EXP and Gold if you're very experienced at the game. If you're newer, I suggest either Golem Wars or Team Deathmatches because there is a team available to complete your weaknesses. Good all-round characters such as Swordsmen and Blacksmiths will have a field day in Deathmatches all throughout the game. Other characters: Archer, Ninja and Mage, will have some success when they're low level. But as your entourage raises in level, they will learn that you are low armor targets and you'll find yourself being backstabbed, rather backstabbing. The best games to play Deathmatches (like Golem Wars) are 8 player games as well 12 player games. For the reasons, please see this paragraph under Golem Wars. Team Deathmatch Pros
-Teamwork is key Cons
-Long rounds Overview If you're a lower armor target such as a Ninja, Archer or Mage, this is the place for you. You'll find yourself with the backup you won't get from Deathmatches so you'll be at a peak of productivity. The games are longer compared to Golem Games and you'll have to make sure you're on the winning team, and if not, leading them to victory. If you aren't, you'll find yourself being constantly rolled over with no chance of turning the tables. In low level games, Team Deathmatches will take almost too long, alot of people will be newer to the game so there will be alot of Knife-Throwing Swordsmen and Staff-Swinging Mages and people won't quite be at their highest efficiency. In lower level environments, stick to Golem Wars unless you can get a great stacked team from your friends list. The best games to play Team Deathmatches (like Golem Wars) are 8 player games as well 12 player games. For the reasons, please see this paragraph under Golem Wars. Closing
Anyways, I hoped this help. Leveling can be long in this game, and we're just trying to make it go by as quickly as possible. :)
